The 1975 campaign in McKillop
Township for The Ontario March
of Dimes has reached a total of
1474.85, which is a generous
increase o'er 1974 total of
$417.20. Co-Chairman for the

On Sunday, July 20th the
Krauskopf family gathered at
Family Paradise for their annual
fainily reunion. The afternoon
activities began with a picnic
lunch. Following this many en-
joyed ,the program of entertain-
ment provided at the park.
Some went swimrhing and
fishing. Games were in charge of
Mr. and Mrs. Basil Horan. and
family n. Orangeville. Everyone
spent most of the afternoon
visiting.
A short meeting was held with
Joseph Krauskopf, Jarvis, as
chairman.

The IDB, established in 1944 as
a subsidiary of the Bank of
Canada, makes loans -to new or
existing businesses of all types
for a variety of purposes. While
there are no limits on loan
amounts, almost 80 per cent of
the bank's loans are for $50,000
or less, relfecting the bank's
special focus• on providing assis-,
tance to smaller businesses,
where the proposal is sound and
finanCing is not available else-
where on reasonable terms and
conditions in keeping with' the
needs of the operation.
In addition to financial assis-
tance, IDB isissuing a series of
helpful brochures on small busi-
ness :management which are
available, on request, at filo
charge. IDB also organizes,
through its branch offices and
with the assistance and co-
sponsorship of district Chambers
of Commerce, 'management sem-
inars to help owners and opera-
tors of smaller businesses im-
prove their management skills.
Speakers on the functions of
the bank are also provided for
civic, professional and service
club meetings on request.

C of C concerts

The fifth summer concert in the
C of C series was given by the
Stratford Legion- Concert Band
under the direction of Paul Cross,
Sunday.
After opening with 0 Canada,
Reeve Join? Flannery spoke a few
words of welcome from the '
town and the Canadian Legion of
Seaforth to the visiting musicians.
A concert of standard operatic
overtures interspersed by popular
Rock and Roll numbers followed.
There will not be a concert this
coming Sunday, Civic Holiday
weekend. The next concert will be
August 10 by the Highjand Band
from Brussels. Lets have a real
Scottish Audience this time.

The Fourth Summer Concert in
the C of C. Series 75 in Victoria
Park was given by the Excelsior
Brass Band of Forest under
direction Ernest Whitton.
Preceded by Police Escort. and
Colour Party they paraded down
Main Street to the Victoria Park
at 7:45. After the National
Anthem, Oliver Price, a former
bandsman who played under
Ernest Witton Sr. who conducted
the Seaforth Highlanders some
years ago, welcomed the Band to
Seaforth reminiscen ing of form-
er years.
A pleasing program con-
sisting of cornet trombone solos
and quartette ensemble numbers
and band numbers were much
enjoyed by an appreciative aud-
ience. A baton number byt 4
young twirlers was given after
which some hymns concluded the
programe. A social half hour with
refreshments by the comthittee
were enjoyed by the members
and friends. -
