25. In Memoriam
BARRY: In loving memory of a
dear brother and brother-in-law
who passed away July 20, 1973.
The month of July is here
To us the saddest of the year.
Two years ago we had to part
with the one we loved with all
,our • hearts.
The wound is deep, it will not
heal
Only those who have lost know
how we feel
If we could speak with him
today
Laugh with him in the same old
way
Please God forgive a silent tear
.,'.A silent wish that he were here.
There were others, yes we
know
But he was ours and we loved him
so.
Sadly missed by brother Brian,
Dorothy and family 25-02-1

As in the hour he passed away.

You Don't Get Something For Nothing
BEWARE
Of The Word
"FREE"
There are more bargain hunters in the
Seaforth and area today than ever before.
Every time a person goes out to spend his
hard earned money, you can bet he wants
to get the most and the best in products
and services for every nickel he spends.
That's why more and more people rely on
The Huron Expositor for information
about where the best buys can be found.
The merchant who advertises in this
newspaper is making you a promise that
he has the merchandise you want at a
price you can afford. He doesn't promise
something for nothing and he's careful
about offering anything free. Don't be
taken in by a lot of 'ballyhoo. Rely on The
Huron Expositor when you're preparing
to spend your money.

26. Personal
Bohai speaker says
Family is nation
in miniature
We must achieve unity within
our family structure before it is
possible to attain unity on a world
basis". This comment was made
by Mrs. Jeannie Seddon,
Chairman of the Goderich Baha'i
Community, as she addressed a
discussion group in the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Arie Glim, 59 Jarvis
Street last Thursday evening.
Quoting from the Baha'i writings
Mrs. Seddon went on to say that
good families are the foundation
of a stable civilization, that a
family is a nation in miniature.
Simply enlarge the circle of the
househ old and you have the
nation, enlarge the circle of
nations and you have all
humanity. The conditions
surrounding the family surround
the nation, she said.
Some of the requirements
necessary to achieve unity within
the family, the group decided,
are: oneness, not sameness, but
rather unity in diversity, allowing
each one to be different; honesty
with each other; fair-mindedness;
a common goal such as the
happiness and well-being of the
whole family with no one seeking
selfish advantage; love; trust, and
mutual respect; loyalty; freedom
from prejudice; loving consul-
tation where everyone consults
freely and frankly; order, the
opposite of which is chaos; the
security of living within firm
guidelines ; and good leadership
with the training of the children
lying squarely on the shoulders of
the parents.
