Fellow members of the Huron-Middlesex riding:
It is my .desire to be your candidate for the Pregressive Conservative
party in the up-and-coming provincial election. For this reason I seek
your support and I solicit your vote at the nomination meeting to be held
on Monday, July 28 at South Huron District High School.
This area has been my home for all of my 47 years. Thus, your concerns
and desires are also mine.
I have spent 20 years in local politics. I have served as a trustee for the
village of Dashwood, as Councillor, Deputy-Reeve and Reeve for the
township of Stephen and as Warden for the County of Huron. I was
president of the Midwestern Development Council and a member of the
Ausable River Conservation Authority.
I have owned and operated a garage and car business for the past 27
years.
I feel that the knowledge and experience which 1 have gained in these
endeavours have qualified me to represent you, the people of this riding.
Sincerely
James C. Hayter
