(Staff Photo) A three-year program of rural floodplain mapping by the Maitland Valley Conservation Authority has been approved by the Ontario government, Natural Resources Minister Leo Bernier has announced. The program will cost an estimated $76,000 of which the province will contribute, .75 per cent or $57,000, Mr. fiernier said.. During 1975, aerial, photography and mapping will cost $11,000. Enlarging and printing of photo transparencies and identification and mapping will be carried out in 1976 at a cost of $45,000. In 1977', engineering, identification of Flood plain mapping gets grant future research and the final report will be completed at a cost of $20,000.
