Hopes for Anther renovations
to the Exeter public School were
renewed at Mondays Huron
Board of Edncat)on meeting when
trustees learned Of approval from
the ` Ontario Ministry of
Education.
The Exeter renovations project
estimated at $201.900 was on the
Huron board's originai program
for renovations and alterations in •
1975. In March, Huron's entire
capital works, budget of $850,000
was rejected by the' education
ministry.
The Ministry's regional
director D.W.Scott told the board
in a lettei, "after careful
consideration of a list of urgent
projects, for, which insufficient
capital allocation was available in
the Western Ontario region for
1975, the Minister has approved
the assignment of additional
funds to the Huron County Board
of Education for Exeter Public,
School in the amount of
$200,000."

Morris Township Council met
on Monday with all members
present and Reeve Wm. Elston
presiding. , • Council agreed on a motion by
councillors Thos. Miller and Jas.
Mair to a refund on 1975 taxes on
N1/4 .Lot 2, Con. 7, based on an
assessment of $740.' and
accepted.
Applications for tile drain loans
amounting to $17,700 on a motion
by councillors Mair and Grasby. It
was agreed that Thos. Miller
would look after repairs to branch
dump.
A donation of $100 was given to
the Township of Turnberry fund
for flood •disaster for Lower
Wingham. •
There being no, appeals to
consider on the Bowes Drainage
Works By-law No. 4, 1975 was
given" 3rd reading and finally
passed.

Bruce Boland, Sarnia will be continued until the end of
Environmental Officer, from the 1975 at least.
Ministry of the Environment The decision to switch from the
third Monday to the first Monday discussed the condition of the
Morris Township waste disposal of each month was made in
site and made recommendations March. In moving the
continuation, Goderich truster concerning the operation of the
Cayley Hill said, "I think this has
been beneficial." •
