This is the first of two visits which Mr. Burghardt is making to Huron. He will address an Ecumenical Service in S.D.H.S. on Sunday June 29 as a feature of the Seaforth Centennial program. The pulpit is not an unusual spot for Burghardt. He's spoken as a layman on many occasions and plays an active part in church and community affairs. he is an' executive member of the United Church communications branch, a member of the Salvation Army's advisory committee, the YMCA's board of directors and the London 'Rotary Club. At one time he considered the ministry as a vocation, but had to give up the idea when his father died and he left school at the age of 14 to support his family. The 44-year-old newsman claims he sees several parallels between the media and the ministry. "In both, it's a matter of commu nication, -attempting to transmit messages affecting a great number of people," he says. Following Sunday morning's church service, which will involve both the Hensall and Chiselhurst United Church congregations, a fellowship hour will be held at • which time visitors may have an opportunity to meet the guest speaker in person. lb. 79ct lb. 89' lb. 75t MAPLE LEAF WIENERS (reg. or all beef) Store-made BEEF AND PORK SAUSAGE Store 262.2017 Abattoir • 262-2041 Fresh CHICKEN LEGS AL'S HENSALL — ONTARIO MARKETS , 1111a,In irTmt.:.; ,..1:1111r111.11 SMCKMPICNICS lb. 89' 113.95; MACARONI & CHEESE LOAF lb. 85' —Freezer Specials_ Fully Processed SIDE of PORK ib.79 1 7.90? 10 lb.
