The travelling gavel was pre-
sented to Edelweiss Rebekah
Lodge Monday evening by
members and officers of Amber
Lodge, Hensall. Following the
presentation by the noble grand,
Mrs. Muriel Consitt a large
bouquet of carnations was also
presented to Mrs. Foster Bennett
noble grand of Edelweiss.
Members were informed that
the inaugural meeting for the past
noble grands of Huron District 23
will be held at Goderich the
evening of June 25 at the call of
the incoming district deputy
president, Mrs. Irene Harnack.
St. Thomas Anglican Church
will be the meeting place for local
100F and Rebekah Lodges, Sun-

the cemetery the same afternoon.

blanket realized $271,75. The
histdry of the lodge has also been
completed and handed in and will
appear in a special issue of the
Huron Expositor,' together with
those of other organizations in
late June.
