instructions , that went out to a group of girl
competitors in one of the running events at the SPS
field day-Thursday. The girls ran round and round
the track in the ground in the school y and as their
friends in the background cheered them on. Points
were tallied up for the various house league teams In

JUST WATCHING — A large crowd sat, in the bleacher seats, as well as at tables on
the floor of the arena for the Guy Lombardo dance Thursday night. Organizers said
the dance made a profit of about $2800 on ticket sales and $2200 on the bar. The
money will go to finance Seaforth's Cetnennial celebrations. • (Staff Photo)

LARGE CROWD LIVES IT UP — There wasn't much
room to dance at the front of the dance floor at the
Guy Lombardo dance Thursday night, but just about
everyone tried. Some wore Centennial costumes for
the first big event of Seaforth's Centennial year.
