students in 450 phys ed classes at
the school. experience in
organizing, officiating and record
keeping at a. field meet. The
SDHS classes will be doing the
officiating at the Huron • Perth
'meet on May 13, in Seagram st
/odium in Kitchener as a class
project.
And while SDHS male students
weren't very prominent as'
competitors they were wielding
tape measures, record books .and
rakes along with the girls. "It
gives, the kids a chance' to learn
about officiating", Mr. Johnston'
said, as well as giving the
students from setrafal schools a
chance to take part in
*competition.
Stratford ,Cenral won the
shield for first place school at the
meet, and Seaforth, tied with
Goderich District High for third
place. Ot her participating
schools 'were Central Huron,
Clinton, F.E.Madill: Wingham
and Northwestern, Stratford.
SDHS had a few facilities for
Track meets, Mr. Johnston said,
