Issues
The following issues, pertinent to the preliminary
master plan concept should be debate-1i and
discussed so that all aspects of these topics are
considered. In this way, soundly reasoned solutions
to these issues can 'be formulated.
..1) Should . the Ministry of Natural Resources
provide camping facilities at the Hullett Wildlife
Management Area?'
2) What should be the'. management policy with-
respect to all power vehicles within the wildlife
management zone proper? •
31 Should bicycle trails be provided within the
4), Considering that all other aspects of the
interpretive • program will be strongly wildlife
oriented, what role should interpretation of the
archaeological sites play,withie•thevisitor services

5) What guidelines should be laid down. to govern
the planting &/or removal of timber? What should
be the management policy for timber at Hullett?
6) Should the surfaces of all or some designated
township roads giving access to the wildlife area
from Highway 4 and 8 be upgraded to accommodate
the increase in traffic generated by visitors
travelling to the • site?

Seat belts mean greater safety.
This is what Ontario is doing s
to make sure people know it —
and wear them!
In 1973, 2000 people were' killed and nearly
100,000 injured in car accidents here in
Ontario! Tragic? Sure. But even more_tragic
when you consider that many Of these'
people coy Id have been saved by one simple
action. Buckling a seat belt.
Scientific evidence proves that seat belts
reduce the chance of death or injury in a car
, accident by 50%!
So your Ontario Government- is spon-
sOring an intensive educational program to
persuade drivers and passengers—and
children, too—to wear a ,sept belt even on
short drives.
The symbol of this program is the sign ,
shown. It's a reminder to "Buckle up for
safety." You'll be seeing it often along
'Ontario streets and highviiays. •
It's part of a plan to help protect you, your •
family, and everyone in the province-Ito
help Ontario residents live better, longer.
And to make doubly-sure of it, the govern-
ment has prepared interestin , informative
booklets,—a film, and speci I school pro-
gram on the importanc of eOring a seat
belt. .
