Unit II for their March meeting on
Monday evening at the Church.
Pat Venner was in the chair and
opened the meeting with a poem
she had composed "Spring
things". The devotional was
conducted by Mane Gerstenkorn.
- A reading "Linings of Silver"
was read and the devotional
concluded with a hymn. Janis
Bisback- favoured everyone with
an Irish melody "When Irish eyes
are smiling" accompanied on the
piano by Brenda Pepper. Sixteen
members answered the roll -.call
with a verse, containing
"Forgive". A 10c fme was paid
by anyone„ not wearing green.
Grace Drummond thanked
who had helped at the Local
Leaders 4-H Training School, at
the U.C.W. lunch after the church
service, and at the ' luncheon for
the ministers meeting. She gave a
..short report of the Huron-Perth
Fresytery meeting describing two
demonstrations given ' 1) The
union of the Church since union in
1925, and 2) the Great Debate re
women in the Church. The next
meeting is to be a pot luck supper
and everyone is to bring a..friend.

Meeting five of the Hensall 4-H
club was held on March 10 at the
home of Mrs. Bill Fuss. The roll
call was ansWered by 18
members. It was "My
suggestions for our achievement
day exhibit or deModstration".
Miss Jane Pengilley was the
guest for the evening. She
introduced everyone to the
garden club coming up this
summer. Sewing samples were
finished by most' of the girls: It
was decided to hold the next
nteetftig on March 17 at 2.p.m. at
the home of Mrs. Fuss because of
the winter break from school.
