In the late game the Blues 'oared back from a 3-2 deficit with 3, 3rd period goals to upset the. Flyers 5 - 3, Blues' goalie Gary Osborne was,in top form and with the help of his goal posts stymied the Flyers shooters: The Flyers led .2 - 1 after the first period and 3-2 after the second stanza. Scored Twice • Jim Finlayson scored twice with Doug O'Reilly, Ken Burgess and Bill Pinder rounding out the Blu es scoring. Brian Leonhardt, Jack 'Grooth his and Steve Ekert replied for. the -Flyers. ' The Blues were determined to win while the Flyers provided only a slight semblance of any. desire -at all. , The Flyers pressed early and changed 3 shots off the goal posts.
