In reporting for the finance and general government committee Councillor Jim Crocker told council that, his committee was looking into having the library painted upstairs, downstairs and on the outside. • He asked all committees to have their estimated budgets ready fcr Feb. 28. His committee also recommended the formation of a separate industrial committee for the town. Councillor Bill Bennett in reporting for the arena committee said that to date five signs hanging in the Arena had paid the $10.00 yearly fee requested by the committee. He said a bill was to be Sent to the remaining sign owners and if the rental fee, is not forthcoming the signs will be removed. Council recommended to -Seaforth P, U.C. that their meetings be held after the hour of 4:30 p.m. in the afternoon so the mayor as a member, would be able to attend. • A grant of $50 for 1975 was approved for Huron Plowmen's Association.
