REVIVAL Huron Historic Jul GO°ItIIICH TQ the editor q A Reader wants clay care , Sir: 1 am writing first as an interested parent c of two preschoolers who could use the facilities of a Day Care Centre and second as a husband of a wife who worked many hours at writing letters, calling meetings, taking surveys and visiting councils of your N town and surrounding townships in order to promote a Day Care Centre in Seaforth hvr ,me the is alsn a nublic heaLrh nurse in L t I your town who hears from many of the parents of preschool children whom either through great financial pressures 'find it necessary for both parents to work or in some cases the mother having to support children on her own or even just the family of a child which does not have any outside acquaintances to give them the fellowship needed to get along with others. All these are very logical reasons to enroll children .. in a much needed D. C. C. preferably in Seaforth even though some do take their children to Clinton. As I stated. surveys were taken which found there was a need for a D. C. Centre in Seaforth so after many meetings your town council passed a by-law to st art a D. C, C. but the councillors appointed from council to establish a Day Care Centre Cummittee seem to show no interest or are in no rush.
