Mrs. Walter Layton of Bayfield celebrated their 61st Wedding
Anniversary of their marriage on Sunday with a turkey dinner
with. their family at their home in the village. The couple has
one daughter, Mrs. Gordon (Verna) Hildebrand; Se4forth,
and three sons, Edward Layton, Clinton; Glen Layton, and
Keith Layton, both of R.R.S. Clinton, several grandchildren
and great grandchildren. - - - The Zurich Atoms won the
Western Ontario Athletic Association Atom - "E" titl on
Sunday"when they downed Lion's Head in the Fifth ga e of

Monkton Lions Club attended the Logan -Township council
meeting at Bornholm, their purpose being the possibility of
forming a clinic or some. facility for doctors for the area of
Monkton and Atwood and the surrounding area.
