W. C. Lawson, of Grand Rapids, Michi-
gan, writes the Post that Mrs. A. H. N.
Jenkins, formerly of Brussels, died there
quite suddenly on Sunday of last week of
typhoid fever, beloved and respected by
all who knew her. Mr, Jenkins, who was
away at Chicago at the time, hi the inter-
ests of the G. R. School Furniture Co., was
summoned by telegeaph and is prostrated
with grief. The funeral took place on
Tuesday of last week. Four
children, the
oldest 14 years of age, are t

Jenkins and Mr. Lawson live on the same
street in Grand Rapids, only a few doors
apart.

Agriculture College team put in an sp-

better have stayed at home though for
they weren't "in it" and suffered a worse
defeat than either of other teams that haye
played this season, during the first half the
teams appeared to be pretty evenly match-
ed but, iu the second half the Seaforth boys
went iu for business and snored seven goals
while the opposite team did not score at
all. Four of the forwards scored a goal
apiece while Cleuuttn, centre forward,
scored two and Tacksou, halfback, one.
The boys are to be congratulated on their
success and it is to he hoped that when
they play iu tho fall season they will give
as good an aceouut of themselves as they
