- The govern' 'tient will sub-
sidize the cost of milk up to
five cents a quart in those pro-
vinces where prices to con-
sumers are, held down for a year.
• - A freeze has'been placed
on the price of gasoline and
heating oils to last until January
30, 1974. Steps will also be taken
to. ensure that Canadian prices
e protected againit inter- r
sible by the congregation and the
Morton Reid Estate and come on
at the same time every , day.
This reminds me of a little
story,,,aritold to me by His
" Worship Mayor Frank Sills.'One
day he was driving into town with
g V.I.P. As they came -near the
edge of town the chimes began
to ring out. The was
quite impressed when he heard
the chimes and' his comments
were very favourable. It raised
the status of the town consider-
ably. The Mayor told him they
come from a local church. This
eems to be something unique for
a town this size.
Keep ringing blessed -chimes
wafting your message to the whole
com'lnunity, visitors and pas-
sers-by.
