Bethel Church
Bethel Bible Church will wel-
come a new minister on Sunday,
September 2nd. in person of Rev.
A. R. Yielding who has served
Faith Bible Church in Stratford
for the past ten years. He
succeeds Rev. Dwight patterson,
who nouf is In Kitchener.
Mr. Yielding comes with a
wide experience in the Christian
ministry and being an accomp-
lished artist as well as a preacher
he often illustrates his messages
by colored drawings on a large
easel or makes use of an over-
head projector, to make Bible
truths come alive In an unique
way. in addition to his art illus-
trations Mr. Yielding makes use
of "Gospel Magic" for the boys
and girls and is known in many
places as ""Mr. Y" the magician.
To describe his type of
ministry Mr. Yielding likes to
quote from the Bible, Nehemiah
8:8 "So they read in the book of
the law of God distinctly, and gave
the sense, and caused them to
understand the reading".
