the editOrial page of The Huron Expositor.
- Picture Subject - may include an area scene, children, animals, building,
flowers and other subjects of general interest, taken within 20 miles of Seaforth.
Each entry to consist of one picture and to indicate where the picture was
taken and produce identification and technical information (type of each4ra and
film). Negative must be included.
Not more than three entries per person permitted (Children's entries welcome).
First prize $5, 'three honorable mentions at $3.00 each, up to 10 awards of $1. each.

ETerYerie enjoyed another visit on Monday afternoon by
the "THE BAND". This group has been able to provide a
TartetY •Of selections with five wind instruments, drums,
Oeetrie organ and a soloist.
light tables of euchre and crokinole were played at the
games on Wednesday afternoon.
"Family Night" Was held in the Auditorium this week
with Albert Craig of Bayneld said Becky Howes of Clinton
Sharing the program. All of the entertainers provided
their Qwn accompaniment with Albert Craig playing 'the
guitar and singing several familiar tunes and requests.
Becky Howes with her accordion led a sing-a-long of old
favouiftes dividing them in groups to suit everyone's fancy
such as Scottish, Irish and war songs. Following the
entertainment Harvey Bryans, of Brussels, a new resident,
wds welcomed to the ,,Home".
Plans are being made to start our fourth year of programs
and we would appreciate a call from individuals or groups of -
volunteers or entertainers.

The gown was trimmed with white
and yellow daisies down all the
front and back seams.
The train which was attached
to her crown was trimmed with
lace. She carried a cascade

carried bouquets of white daisies
and baby's breath.

was flower girl. She carried
a basket of white daisies and
baby's breath.

was best man.

bearer. The reception was held
in the Formosa Hall.
For a wedding trip north and
to Niagara Falls the bride wore
a red and white ,pant suit. She
wore a corsage of red roses.
The couple will reside atR.R.
• 1, Holyrood.
St. Columban Roman Catholic
Church was the setting for . the
marriage of Mary LOuise
Murray, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Raymond J. Murray, R.R.5, Sea-
forth and Patrick Francis Jordan,
• son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jordan
on August 11th at 2:00 p.m. with
Rev. Father P. Oostveen cele-
brating the Nuptial Mass. The
altars were decorated with
candelabras, pink carnations and
white shasta daisies.
The bride, given in marriage
by ner mother and father, chose
a gown of pplyester sheer organza
with Empire waistline, high
neckline and long sleeveg. Gui-
pure lace and race fleurettes
trimmed the bodice and sleeves
'f the gown. Matching lace
edged the hemline and followed
around the full built-in cathedral
train. A matching bridal cap
held the lace edged silk illusion
veil. She carried a bouquet of
red , roses.
Elaine Murray, sister of the
bricte, was' the maid of nonor
and the , bridesmaids were,

of the bride, Junior Brides-
maid, Jean 'Murray, sister of
the bride. They were dressed
alike in gowns of blue and white
polyester gingharri seersucker
featuring a flared •skirt, natural
waistline, cumberbund, collar
and deep cuffs with frills on the
front of the white chiffon bodice.
They carried baskets of white
shasta daisies and pink carnat-
ions. •
Peter Willemsen, Stratford,
- was the groomsman and the
guests were ushered by 'Joseph
Murray, brother of the bride,
Barrie; Stewart Romp!, Strat-
ford; Junior Usher, Donald
Jordan, brother of the groom.
Cathy ' Murray was the
organist and accompanied the
soloist, Patricia Murray when
she sang "The Wedding Song",
"0 Perfect Love", and “Ave
Maria".
The dinner and reception were
held 'at the Brodhagen Com-
munity Centre. The bride's
mother received guests wearing
a floor-length pink gown of crimp
knit and the groom's- mother
chose a floor-length mauve crimp
gown.
For the wedding trip to Nor-
thern -Ontario the bride chose
a red plaid two-piece outfit with
navy accessories and a corsage
of yellow daisies.
The couple will reside at
261 Douglas Street, Stratford.
Guests were present from
Seaforth, Stratford, Sarnia,
, Kitchener, Zurich, Clinton, Tor-
onto, • St. Columban, Dublin,
Barifile and London. • • '
Prior • to the wedding the
bride was hondred at miscel-
laneous showers given by Joanne
• Murray and Anne Murray in St.
Columban Parish Hall; Brenda
Benjamin at her home in Strat-
ford and Louanne Jonas and
Norma McMaster gave a wine
and cheese party at Louanne's
home in Stratford. ^

officiated.
The bride, escorted down the
aisle by her ather, wore a gown
of floor length white polyester
satin with an empire waist, a
Gibson girl neckline with' daisy
trim and long full lace sleeves
with daisy trim at the cuffs.
She wore a detachable ca-
thedral length lace train with
rhinestone trim and a fingertip
veil 'of four tiered silk illusion.
The ensemble was designed and
made by the bride. She car-.
tied a cascade of yellow roses
with baby's breath.
Maid of Honour, Mary
Triebner of Exeter, 'sister of
the groom, wore a yellow floor
length gown of sheer nylon over
taffeta, with empire waist, puffed
sleeves of white sheer nylon
with yellow flocking, round neck-
line inserts of matching flocking
and yellow, N roll collar. A, wide •
tie at the' back-with-matching
Mr. and Mrs. Leo Murray of
St. Columban and Mr. and Mrs.
Thomas Burns of Dublin were
recent visitors with Mrs. Mary
Thornton.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Mc
Callum, Marion, Joyce and Carl
visited with Mr. and Krt. Lloyd
E. Regele and family of
Princeton.
Recent visitors with Mr.
and Mrs. Edward. Regele were
Mr. and Mrs. John Brown, Elaine
and Sharon of Walton and Mr.
and Mrs. Clarence Regele.

pleted her dress.
Bridesmaids, Bonnie and
Marilyn Cooper, sisters of the
bride, and flower girl Donna
Miller, niece of the bride, R.R. 3,
Brussels wore dresses identical
to the Maid of Honour's dress.
The senior attendants were in
turquoise 'and hot pink and the,
flower girl in yellow, carrying'
a basket of daisies. The other
attenkants carried nosegays
of white daisies trimmed with
tinted starflower.
Bob Kinsman, R.R. 2, Staffs
was best man and ushers were
Bevin Kinsman, R.R. 2, Staffa
and Ken' Triebner, Exeter. Mrs.
Grant Triebner was organist'and
music was sung by Dave and Beth
Prouty of the "Gospel Cus-
todians".
A reception was held following
the ceremony in the parlour of
St. James Church.
For travelling the bride wore
a two-piece outfit of powder blue
and white. The bride and groom
will live at R.R. 1, Exeter.
Prior to her marriage, the
bride was honoured at showers '
given by Exeter Pentecostal
Tabernacle, Mrs. Ken Parker,
Mrs. Caty Whiteford, Mrs.
Nancy Quinn and Cynthia Gunn
and Teresa condrejicka.
Mrs. Mary Thornton.
We wish John Dietz a speedy
recovery. He is a patient in
Seaforth Comenunity Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Ellis of
Mallon, Mississauga visited on
Fhursday with Mr. and Mrs.
Edward Regele and also called
on Mrs. Mary Thornton and Mr.
and Mrs. Harold McCallum. Mrs.
Ellis is a daughter of the late
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Thornton.
