Baker Public Relations Officer Branch 156 WHO IS TO BLAME FOR THE HIGH COST OF LIVING We are all complaining about the high cost of living, do we ever stop to think who is ib blame? We are to blame as much as anyone, we have pressured the Government into giving us what we want, they have shown a cer- tain' weakness by giving in to our demand's. We are proud that our country rates one of the highest standards of living 'in the world, this I am afraid to say will not be so much longer, for one of these days we will find that Japan and Russia will have cornered the world market as our production costs, are increasing every year due to the demand for higher wages every few months, this of course raises the price of our exports.
