Ray Harrison, son •of Mr. and
Mrs. Herbert Harrison, R.R. #1,
Seaforth, on July 7th,. at 3 p.m.
in Egmondville United Church.
Rev. T.E. Hancock performed the
single ring ceremoey.
The bride, who chose a white
satin lace -trimmed gown with a
ribbon bow at the back, was given
in marriage by her father. The
maid of honor, Miss Tracey
Carter of Egmondville wore a
navy blue dress with y -neck,
white trim and short sleeves.
The bridesmaids, Glenda Butt of
Egmondville and Betty Guenther
of Dashwood, wore dresses simi-
lar to that of the maid of ,honor,
in yellow.
Marty VanLoon of. London,
was groomsman and the guests
were ushered by Frank and
Martin Verberne 'of R.R. 4, Sea-
forth.
The organist, Mrs. Arnold
Scott, accompanied Mrs.
Zivkovic who sang "Song of Joy".
For going, away the bride wore
a blue and white checked„ pant
suit.
Guests were present from
Toronto, Port Perry and the
Seaforth area.

Arrays of white Shasta dais-
ies, yellow daisy nrims and tan-
gerine carnations enyanced by
wrought iron candelabra with
yellow burning tapers formed the
setting in E pworth United Church,
Kingsville, for the exchanging of
marriage vows by Katherine Anne
Elder and Raymond Bruce Ful-
mer. The impressive double ring
ceremony was performed by Re 7.
James E. Forsythe. During the
service of matrimony soloist,
Morley iliggin's, accompanied by
organist, Miss Marjorie Allen
sang "My World", "The Lord's
Prayer" and "If I Cou!cl Tell
You".
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Lorne C. Elder
of Kingsville and her grand-
parents are the late Mr. and
Mrs. John Elder and the late
Mr. and Mrs. John Passmore-
form -rly of Hensall. An aunt is
Mrs. Grace peck of Hensall.
The bridegroom is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Claire Fulmer
of .Kingsville.
Escorted to the sanctuary by
her father and given in mar-
riage . by both her parents, the
bride was gowned in pure white
sati-peau. The floor-length A-
line Empire style gown was lash-

daisy embroidered lace. The

man and Larry Cook, John Elder,
brother of the bride, and. Ron
Fulmer, brother of the bride-
groorn were the ushers.

Band farmed an honor guard
outside the church for the depart-
ure of the newlyweds and those
attending the ceremony.
A reception for approximately
150' guests followed at the Kingi-
ville Golf and Curling Club.
Mrs. Elder received for her
daughter's_ wedding wearing a
peach ice dacron floor-leagth
gowti complemented with white
Irish lace; white accessories and
a corsage of white phaleanopis
orchids. Mrs. Fulmer, mother
of the bridegroom chose a spring
green floral print sheer floor-
le'ng'th gown, white accessories
and a corsage of white phalean-
opts orchids.
On this occasion the bride-
groom's paternal grandmother,
Mrs. Cora Fulmer was present.
Mr. and Mrs. Fulmer departed
on a motor trip to Cape Cod
and upon their return will, reside
in Windsor.

The maid of honour, Rose Marie
Eckeit,- and bridesmaids Nancy
Eckert and Mary Wolfe of Mit-
chell were dressed alike in gowns
of blue and white checked
organza, styled with a scoop
neckline and Empire bodice. The.
short puffed sleeves and bodice
were lace trimmed.
The groomsman was David
Thomson of Mitchell and Al Mc-
Grath, Mitchell and Danny Kenny,
Dublin were ushers.
Organist Mary Ann O'Rourke
accompanied soloist Casey Van •
Bakel.
Following the ceremony a dinner
and reception were held at the.
Sea-forth Legion 'Hall. Mrs.
Eckert received the guests dres-
sed in a light blue full length
knit dress with a white stole
and corsage of yellow roses.
She was assisted by the groom's
mother in a flowered chiffon
dress. The groom's grandmother
who was also present, wore a
purple flowered crepe dress.
They both had corsages of yellow'-'
roses. All the men inthe wedding
party had white carnation bout-
onnieres.
Guests were present from
London, Galt,`Guelph, Kitchener,
Stratford, and many local points.
The bride's travelling costume
was a dress With white short
sleeved top with apink checkered.
flared skirt and jacket. She wore
an orchid corsage.
After a wedding trip to Niagara

MRS. CHARLES HAGAN
The death of Mrs. Charles
Hagan, widow of Charles Hagan
and a former resident of Sea-
forth occurred at her residence,
919 Wellington St., London, on
Wednesday, July 4th, 1973. She
was the former Susanna Smith of
Zurich and was in her 87th year.
Mrs., Hagan is survived by 'a
daughter, Miss Mary -Hagan, at
home. She was a sister of Simon
Smith , Hamilton, Joseph Smith,
Ancaster, Adelbert Smith,
Zurich, Mrs. Elenora Mit-
tleholtz, Zurich, Mrs. Discola
Gilbert, Detroit, and Mrs. Thelca
Spade, California.
The remains rested at John
T. Donahue Funeral Home,
London. The funeral mass was
at St. Michael's Church on Fri-
day morning at 11 o'clock. Inter-
ment followed at St. Boniface
Cemetery, Zurich.
JAMES F.-PAYNE
James F. Payne died suddenly
at his residence at Walton, Ont.
July 6th. He was in his 75th
'year.' He was the beloved hus-
band of the former Beatrice Ree-
kie. He also is survived by
sons, Harold of Barrhead, Al-
berta and Bruce of Vancouver,
B.C., Morris of Cambridge, and
Elgin of River Cannard,Ont., and
daughters, Alice, Mrs. W.R.
Kiessling, of L akewood,
Vivian, Mrs. Norman Read, Ed-
monton, Alberta, Verna, Mrs.
Earle Ritcey, Middleton, N.S.,
Olive, Mrs. Leonard Chisholm of
Dungannon, Ont.
Also surviving are 15 grand-
daisies, pink variegated minia-
ture carnations, blue cornflowers
and baby's breath.
Ray Beattie, R.R. # 1,
Seaforth, was the groomsman and
the guests were ushered by
Douglas Bray, Amherstburg,
brother of the bride, and Brian
Kennedy, Clinton,, brother of the
groom.
Mrs. Carol Carter,. organist
accompanied Miss Mary Anne
Segeren; soloist, when she_sang
/'The Wedding" before the
service and "The Wedding Song"
during the signing of the Register.
The reception was held at
Brodhagen Community Centre
with the waysiders Orchestra
providing the nusic. The bride's
mother received guests wearing a
floor-.1ength gown of floral geor-
gette with white accessories and a
corsage of yellow sweetheart
roses with a touch of white. The
groom's mother wore a floor-
length gown of mauve crepe with
white accessories and a corsage
of pink sweetheart roses with a
touch of white.
For travelling the bride chose
a floor-length gowirof deep pink
polyester crimpolene with a white
lacy shawl and white accessories.
She wore a corsage of corn-.,.
flowers and pink variegated
miniature carnations.
Upon return from their honey-
moon to Yellowknife, the

Clarksburg Union Cemetery.

Clayton Douglas Hall, 3'7, of
R.R. #5, Waterford, passed away
Wednesday, July 4, in West Hal-
dimand General Hospital, Hag-
ersville. He is survived by his
wife, the former Noreen McEwing
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John H.
McEwing, R.R. #1, Blyth; a son
Murray and daughter Laura, both
at home, his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Clayton Hall, R.R. #5, Wa-
terford, three sisters, Mrs. Fred
(Donna) Golding, R.R. #4, Simeoe,
Mrs. Russell (Carol) Turner,
R.R. #3, Waterford and Mrs.
Gordon (Mirna) White, Brantford.
Mr. Hall was born and edu-
cated in Townsend Township,
Norfolk County and resided there
all his life.
Funeral services were held
from the Matt Funeral Home,
waterfOrd on Saturday, July 7,
with Rev. Adolph Hahn of Villa
Nova Baptist Church officiat'mg.
'Burial followed in Greenwttell-Cez.-
metery, Waterford.

Seaforth, was the setting for the
marriage of Sheila Mae Bray and
Raymond Edward Kennedy on July
6th, 1973, at 7:30 P.M. The
double-ring ceremony was per-
formed by Reverend T.C. Mul-
holland.
The church was decorated
with candelabra and floral
arrangements of white gladiolus,
daisies, carnations and baby's
breath.
, The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Bray, Sea-
forth and Mr. and Mrs. Elgin
Dale, Clinton, are the parents
of the groom.
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, chose a, floor-
length gown of -white silk organ-
za, styled with a gibson girl
collar and sheer bishop sleeves,
featuring a softly gathered skirt
from mid-waist-line. The gown
was accented with two bands of
guipure lace flounce and flower
appliques which trimmed the
front bodice and. skirt. A de-
tachable cathedral length train.

line. She wore a scalloped finger
tip length veil gathered into a
large Alexandria style headpiece.
