Sir:
The Red Cross Blood Donor Clinic
is holding a Clinic at, Seaforth Monday,
July 16th at. Northside United Church
from 6;00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
The Sponsors of the Clinic- - the
Seaforth Oranch of the Canadian Red
Cross Society Will be most grateful if
you will support their efforts to have an
adequate supply of blood available to the
hospitals during a critical time of year
for the Blood Bank. There are 30 hos-
pitals in our area that we must supply
and during the summer so many people
go on vacation that• the supplies are low.
We hope you will remind the people
Of Seaforth and area of the Blood Donor
Clinic. The total attendance at the once
a year Clinic is very low in proportiOn
to the population of Seaforth and area -
about 100 donors. Maybe it is apathy or
Just a lack of communication between the
Red Cross and the population at large
and we feel that the newspapers can
assist us greatly in this. Please do
support our efforts at this time.
Mrs. Alma Wallace
Coordinator Blood Donor Service,•
London Area.

Return from Scotland
Sir:
As I recall July 4th is when I usually
renew my subscription, so lfere- is a
check for $10.00;
After a nice 3 weeks holiday in
Britain, mostly in Scotland, I returned
home yesterday. It is always a real
pleasure to be there and in particular
the border country where so many Seaforth
settlers left for Canada.
