The Huron Expositor, 1973-06-28, Page 5The Grade g class Of St. James School gathered with their
parents at the school Wednesday evening to celebrate their
graduation. The evening began with a Mass of Thanksgiving
celebrated by Father H. Laragh. Following the Mass the
students gave a slide presentation of their recent trip to Ottawa
and Kingston where they toured Parliament, the Mint, Upper
Canada Village and Old Fort Henry. Mrs. E. Wilson and Mrs.
A. Smale, presented each student with a copy of the New
Testament on behalf of the St. James Parish C.W.L. James
Devereaux presented scholarships on behalf of the Father
Stephen Eckert K. of C. Council to Joan Devereaux and Ken
Metzheere. Luncheon was served to students, parents and
teachers by the C.W.L.

audience filled the auditorium.
Mrs. W. L. Whyte Sr., presi-
dent of the U.C.W., was commen-
tator and Rev. McDonald chaired
the event. The Snell /Sisters and
David Street and Karen Tyndall,
accompanied by LoOise Lovett,
provided musical entertainment.
