MRS. JOHN C. IVILIIR
Mrs. John C. Muir, 62, of
Seaforth, died Saturday in the
Seaforth Community Hospital.
She was the \former Jane S.
Bartlett, born In F.ullarton Town-
ship, a daughter, of the late Mr.
and Mrs. George' Bartlett.
Her husband to whom she was
married in 1931, died in 1967 and
a daughter, Shirley in 1953.
Surv,iving is a son, Donald
B. Muir, of Seaforth.
The body was at the R.S.
Box funeral home, Seaforth,
where the funeral service was at
2 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. T.C.
Mulholland offiating„ !aerial was

Smale, Jack Eisler, Jack Muir,
David Muir, Jack Davis and

Jennifer Elaine Kirkby, 11, of
Walton, died at,her home Friday
after a four-month illness.
She is survived by tier`
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas
Kirkby of Walton.

and Mrs. John A. Perrie of
Brussels, and Frank Kirkby of
Walton.
Thebody was at the R.S.
funeral home, Seaforth, Box
where funeral service was held
on Saturday at 3;30 p.m.
Burial was in Brussels ceme-
tery with Rev. Derwin Docken
officiating.
Pallbearers were: Howard
Hackwell, Gordon Smith, Graham
Sholdice, Mac Sholdice, Neil Mc
Gavin and George Jutzi. Flower-
bearers were: Ron Bennett and
Bill Humphries.

Mrs. Murray Tyndall, 71, of
Brucefield, died in the Seaforth
Community Hospital Wednesday,
May 9 following an illness of
six months.
She was a member of the

Brown, a daughter of the late
Mr. and Mrs. Angus Brown of

a brother, W. James Brown 'of
Seaforth.
The body was at the R.S.
Box funeral home in Seaforth
where the funeral service was
held Saturday at 2 p.m. conduc-
ted by Rey. P.M. hackman, Burial
was in Baird's cemetery inStan-
ley Township.
Pallbearers were: Ken Scott,
Basil` t O'Reurke, Robert Dal-
rymple, George Clifton, Ken
Stewart, Fred Boyce. Flower-
bearers were; Malcolm Thomp-
son, Gregor McGregor.
AJOHN O'CONNOR
John O'Connor, 55 of Toronto,
and formerly of St. Columban,
died in Toronto Thursday.
Born in Hibbert Township, he
was a son of the late Mr. and
Mrs. Daniel O'Connor.
Educated at St. Columban and
Seaforth Collegiate Institute, he
farmed in McKillop Township be-
fore moving to Toronto to work
as a salesman.
He is survived by sisters, Mrs.
J. (Mary) Harrigan, and Mrs.
Charles (Rose) McIlhargey, both
of London; brothers, Frank of
, Scarborough, Gerald of Weston,
Joseph of. Toronto, and Harry of
Sarnia. '
.The body was at the R.S.
Box funeral home, Seaforth until
Monday when it was removed to
St. Columban Roman Catholic
Church, for funeral service at
10 a.m. Burial followed in St.
Columban cemetery.
Rev. Peter Oostveen officiat-
ed. Pallbearers were: Edward
Harrigan, Bernard Harrigan,
Paul Mcllhargey, Daniel Mc
Ilhargey, Terrence O'Connor;
Michael O'Connor.

shines in
'Spring. Tonic'
, A Seaforth quartette starred
in the Goderich production
"Spring Tonic" presented by
the Goderich Little Theatre last
week.
The show is being presented
in Clinton next Tuesday and
wednesday,under the auspices of
the Clinton Lions Club.
Commenting on the Seaforth
quartette the Goderich Signal
Star said;
"The audience was warm"and
receptive during the presenta-
tion of some old-time favor-
ites by The Town and Country ,
Four, a barbershop quartette
comprised of Bili Campbell, Ken
Campbell, George Fahey and'
Marlen Vincent.
"By themselves and with the
entire company backing them up,
these boys left audience clapping
and cheering for more. Some of
the old-time 'goodies were
Sweetheart of Sigma Chi, Making
Love Ukulele Style and I Only
Want A Buddy Not A Sweetheart.
"During A Bicycle Built For
Two, the audience really became
involved as Jean Knight and Bill
Craig rode around the perimeter
of the ,,GDCI gymnasium on a
sturdy bicycle-built-for-two .

died in Huronview, Clinton Tues-
day.
She was the former Margaret
McLean, a daughter of_ the late
Mr. and Mrs. James C. McLean
of Tuckersmith Township. She

United Church, Seaforth. Her
husband died many years ago.
Surviving are: a daughter,
Mrs. Neil (Wilma) Taylor, of
San Francisco; three grand-
