A goodly crowd was present
for the Easter Service of Wor-
ship in Hensall United Church on
Sunday morning. The choir under
the leadership of Mrs. Turldleim
sang two anthems, and Rev. Don'
Beck chose as his sermon topic
"The news of the Day".

Thankoffering meeting on April
10 when guests were present from
Brucefield, Varna, and Chisel-
hurst charges. Mrs..`„David
Turner chaired the meeting and
the worship was taken by .Mrs.
Jack Sinclair. The theme of the
devotional was "Time" and the
Scripture was read by Mrs. Aria,
Binnendyk. Mrs. Berne McKinley
contributed trumpet numbers ac.-
companied by Mrs. Ross Broad-
foot on the piano. The hostesses
were Mrs. Bert Faber and Mrs.
Harold Jones. Mrs. H. Binnen-
dyke introduced the guest spea-
ker, Rev. D.L. Patterson,
Egmondville who showed slides
and spoke on his journey to the
Holy Land. Mrs..David Cooper
gave courtesy remarks. -
Helen McLean's side was the
winner in the roll call contest
Mrs. Sharp 'discussed "Love's,
and read a short poem. The
District meeting, which was held
Wednesday afternoon inSeaforth,
was reported on by Mrs. Maggie
Campbell, and Mrs. Mary Gregg'
of Clinton was nominated as
D.D.P. for the coming term of
1973 - 74 at that time. About
twelve Members of the Lodge
plan to go by bus to AtwOod
on' April 27 to attend the Lodge's
25th birthday party.

of other branches in the District.
