WARREN VINCENT For most members of your sign, a bright light shOuld shine off" the path to financial gains. Actually, it's a good time to plan, scheme, de- sign, invest and speculate. Curb the temptation to join a group that has been united through maliciobs gossip and clandestine activities. Associating with unde- sirables, shows in your chart. Over analysis of yourself and a member of the opposite sex, could be problematical. You are inclined to become involved in the traditional "cat and mouse" game. A rather' peculiar aspect shows in your chart. An associate will, suddenly, portray the actions or attitude of a stranger. n other words, some- one nearby will become a walking contradiction. Apparently, an opinion or untried theory that you have held in abeyance, will prove to be valid. It's your turn to issue an "I told you so!" Most members of your sign are prone to be- conie trapped in the "worry circle." Worry about what? The opposite sex and financial matters, mostly! Avoid a tight schedule; tie up loose ends. This week might find you jammed with postpone- ments, untimely interruptions and false starts. Meet one obligation at a time. What you discover this week, will have an im- pact on the future; especially concerning your relationship with the opposite sex. So, 11—you are going to test for loyalty . . . do it now! For those under your sign Unattached, this happens to be a treacherous cycle for affaiis of the heart. Deceptiveness- seems to be in the general scheme of things. According to your chart, you will seek advice. But, whatever you are told, will fall on deaf ears. In other words, this week you will seek conformation - not counsel. Take advantage of excellent stellar patterns. Whether, affairs of the heart, business contacts or social activities; you can do . . . no wrong! You should do well, very well in fact, with supervisors, superiors or persons in authority. In other words, exercise diplomacy . . . push grievances aside! and vital .pleces of information in the business. Such infor- mation enables Vincent's to notify"--- interested customers of especial promotion or show which will' help him in his efficient farming operation. The customer's mag- netic card is used in this way by the computer. The computer will also be ' providing updated inventory lists. This will assist Vincent's in keeping equipment in stock for immediate delivery at vital times of the year, thus helping their customers maintain efficient farming practices. This new system, will be continually updated, as different needs arise to ensure Vincent's customers the best possible service with a minimum of delay. • Concern was expressed over the short period of time allowed for establishing the organizational structure. Roger Slutt, Toronto of the O.H.A. will lead an all day work- shop in April on,the "The Health worker and .the Law" when three hundred people are expected to attend. Plans for the June Graduation are .in progress Mrs. W. Carr, of the Public Relations Com- mittee reported. ed from 12 Noon until 8 P.M. the afternoon will include mov- les, ballobns and door prizes. In the evening there will be free dancing to music by the Des Jardine Orchestra. MARLEN VINCENT A farmer turned blacksmith's helper pushed a wheelbarrow full of farm implement parts up the ,main street' of Ayr in 1923 and right into a successful career as an International par-. vester dealer. Today the business has ex- panded into , Vincent • Ealin Eauinment Ltd. and includes , DOUGLAS VINCENT Recently, Warren's son, Douglas W. Vincent, joined the family business which created the addition of a "third gener- ation". After graduation from the University of Guelph, he joined International Harvester Company of Canada Ltd. where he held various "nositions over a period of five years relating to' rental, leasing and financing of equipment. The broad exper- ience and knowledge Douglas has gained will be an asset in continuing the development of the firm. With this agricultural oriented management team, Vincent's will, carry • on their efforts toward supplying newer and more efficient methods of farm mechanizatiOn to continue serving their customers better. Since ,the ¢stabkishment of the Vincent arm Equipment business 50 years ago, Warren and Marten Vincent, sons of the founder, have developed the oper- atibn into one of Canada's largest farm equipment dealerorun, izations. ,Both have spent much time in improving the agricultural in-, dustry through their efforts and participation in the Ontario Re- tail Farm Equipment Dealers Association. warren has served as president for both the Ontario and Canadian Associations and is presently the Ontario represen- tative to the North American Association. Starts with wheel barrow • His name was Les 'Vincent. He had purchased the parts from the local blacksmith,; who con- sidered the farm implement bus-. iness a• relaxing sideline -' secondary to shoeing horses. His load of parts led to his signing an International Har- vester contract. In three years he hitd, sold the first No, 8 Har- vester Thresher in Ontario, and later he put the first harrow plow to work In the province. Business was so good in the early years that Les Vincent was caught with a carload full of 15-30 tractors when the 1929 stock market crash lowered the boom on general prosperity. Des- pite all the hardships, he managed to get rid of them and rode out those lean years with business intact. Thus, good business manage- ment dame naturally to his two boys, Warren and Marlen, who followed in their father's foot- steps. Warren, joined the firm in 1943 and Marlen in 1950, and in 1,955 the two brothers took over the complete operation.' Brannan, president of International Harvester Com- pany of Canada, cut the ribbon which officially opened a new 10,000 square foot building sit- uated on a lot with acres of space for displaying of new and Used farm equipment.
