the Committee of Conservation
Authority chairmen of Ontario.
The judging and adminis-
tration of awards is done through
a committee of representatives
from the local Conservation
Authority and Boards of Ed-

receive the Award on '4)ehalf of
the Club. She explained. that
they are now looking for inforin-

Projects are judged on rel-
ation to environmental manage-
ment, quality of work,, originality,
imagination, potential public
impact, and how the group would
propose spending the $50.00
Award should they win..
The Club from South Huron
proposed using the money to or-
ganize and conduct a trial re-
cycling project in Exeter,
starting with newspaper re-
cycling and if that is success-
ful, expanding the project to in-
clude tin and glass.
Generally, one $50.09 award
is given from each Conservation

larger Authorities are permitted-
more awards based on the number
of secondary schools in their
watershed.
