Recreation centre, Vanastra.
Vanastra Developments gave
the close to two hundred pupil's

Refereeing was provided by

ficiated during the seventy-two
single games.
In the round-robin tourna-
ment, each team played against
all other teams with no team being
eliminated.
Hullett Central School" won
both the Boys' and Girls' tourna-
ments. Their strong boys' team
won ten straight games, never
once being forced into a third
game in any of their five best
two out of three series.
The calibre of playing has
steadily improved since the first
tournament, and it was especially
noted that the surroundings of
the Recreation Centre made it
much better for the players to
do their best.

At a meeting of the Recreation
Committee in the council cham-
bers, Maurice Huard agreed to
act as chairman for the forth-
coming year. •
Since a budget must be pre-
pared in the next month, the com-
mittee emphasized that organiz-
ations wishing financial assis-
tance must submit a request for
such assistance and the reason
for the request prior to the
next Recreation meeting on
March 14.
