BY DR. A.W. DAMIS
Forecast Period: February 11 to February 18, 1973
You will be putting on an act, hiding your emo-
tions, so to speak. Why? Because you will
become suddenly aware and shocked, by an
associate's ulterior motives.
This week's cosmic influence boosts your sex
appeal to a dynamic level. One problem! Several
subtle overtures, heading your way, could be-
come troublesome.
Someone in authority, so it seems, might touch
an exposed nerve. Meaning? Most of this week's
efforts will be Built around a grievance you
seek to air.
At this time, you are too far caught up in the
past to ever change, So, don't tamper with
thoughts of a new job; new residence; new
romance.
According to stellar patterns, there will be more
fact than fiction, in a rumor that will go around.
Meaning? Take advantage of information com-
ing your way.
Listen well, Virgo! During this cosmic cycle,
most members of your sign should be sharply
honed, mentally. You must, however, avoid pro-
voking a superior.
In one form or another, a romance developing
behind the scene, will affect your job, project or
task. Incidentally, clandestine meetings and
phone calls should be avoided.
Following a minor reversal that might have
legal overtones; financial gains are probable.
Also, an idea or device to improve your daily
routine, shows in your chart.
A surge of energy, or ambition related to im-
proving your home base, is indicated. No less
important, it's probable that you will anticipate
making a major purchase.
Legal matters and receiving help from persons
in authority are favorable, dtiring this week's
cosmic cycle. Incidentally, an important phone
call is also indicrated.
There's a great possibility that a member of the
opposite sex, who has interests similar to yours,
will appear on the scene. If married or com-
mitted, stay in bounds!
Activities involving a large organization or
group is indicated for many members of your
sign. Others Pisceans will be confronted with a
major decision,

is an all-day tournament at Clin-

optimistic about our chances and
thinks we should offer some stiff
competition.
Basketball
On, Thursday, Feb. 1st, Sea-
forth played host to wingham
Boys' Basketball team. Both sea-
forth teams had a good day play-
ing good ball, but unfortunately
couldn't make it pay off. The
Juniors who were winning 16-8
at the end of, the first quarter
ended the game with a final score
Of 54 -33 for Wingham. Simi-
larily, the Seniors played a good,
close game but the final score
was 41 - 33 in favour of wing-
ham. - Cam Holland played well
for Seaforth netting 12 points
altogether.
Coach Johnston is not disap-
pointed with either team and has
set an objective of winning three
games at WOSSA for his team.
This will hp-agaigist stiff compe-
tition but he feels sure his boys
can do it. The next game is
against Goderich on Thursday,
Feb. 8th.
Grade 8 night
On Tuesday, Feb. 6th SDHS
sponsored a Grade 8 Night for
Seaforth and district future stu-
dents. The parents and students
first meet in the gymnasium for
a briefing of the schedule. They
are then invited to tour the school
and meet 'the teachers. Each tea-
cher gives a course outline to
interested parents and students.
The objective of the night is to
familiarize the student will the
school and introduce him to the'
courses offered. This is helpful
to the new student of SDHS.

James' representative but she
is also the Huron-Perth rep. and
last year was one of four picked
for the South Western Ontario
representatives. There are a lot
of meetings involved with this and
it keeps her pretty busy. Apart
from this, Mary works at the
family bowling alley and is on
a number of teams. Hobbies
include sports of all kinds, like
swimming or skating and also
sewing and cooking. Also to her
credit, Mary was chosen as one
of this year's Fall Fair princes-
ses. It was considered to put
in her telephone number but its
unlikely that Mary could 'fit in
any more than those she already
has.
Next summer Mary•plans to
take a trip to Holland. and Europe
for her holidays. She plans to
be away six weeks and Is already
looking forward to it. After that
she hopes to go to Fanshaw Col-
lege where she plans to become a
Social Service 'Worker. I wonder
if they know what they're getting
into down there?
Volleyball
The Girls' Volleyball team
went away Wednesday, Jan. 31st
to a tournament. Both teams
played well against stiff compe-
tition. The Junior score against
Mitchell was 15-3 and 15-8 in
favour of Mitchell and against
Listowel it was 15-10 and 15-3
also for the op ponents . The
girls came on strong in their
game against South Huron winning
both games with scores of 15-12
and 15-13 for Seaforth.
It was a goo d day for the
Seniors also. They won against
South Huron with game scores
of 15-10 Seaforth 13-15 South
Huron and 15-12 Seaforth. Like-
wise Mitchell was shunted with
game scores of 11-15 Mitchell,
15-5 Seaforth and 18-16 Seaforth.
Unfortunately the Listowel team

Friday, after school the boys
Volleyball team met the Senior

for the girls and although they
won only one game they probably
learned a lot especially how to
lake teasing from the victorious
boys good-naturedly.
