Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Eisler

renovations' on the former
Vincent Farm Equipment building
on South Main Street. The large
building now accommodates a
restaurant, billiard parlour and
pop shop.
" The kitchen,of stainless steel,

Seaforth area residents are en-
joying.
A number of tables are avail-
able for those who wish to eat in,
but the large part of the business
is carry out.
The idea was first thought of
.when Reddl-Chef advertised, in
the Huron Expositor' seeking
someone in the area to handle a
franchise, '
Mr. and Mrs. ,Eisler applied
and were granted the franchise.
They then purchased the building
from Mrs. John Bach. They
carefully planned the necessary
alterations but at that time had
not considered the billiard end of
the business.
After Chris Knetsch Closed
out the existing billiard parlour,
plans were made to install three
tables and a number of pin ball
machines to give the youth of the
area something to do after school
and in the evenings.
The Pop Shop was added as a
convenience to area people who
up 'till now had to go to Strat-
ford or London to buy this.
product.
Mr. Eisler, who is resigning
as police constable in Seaforth,
so as to devote full time to his
business, said plans are inprog-
ress to add a 2,400 square feet
dining area in the rear area of
the building.
The building has a history dat-
ing back to 1874 when It was built
by Elliott and Armitage.
It was the site of the Royal
Canadian Bank and later the Bank
of Commerce until 1905. Joseph
Brownell had a grocery store in
the second part and William
Elliott, a bookstore and telegraph
office.
John Bach later purchased the
building and used it in his elec-
trical supply and 4Bternational-
Harvester implement business.
Vincent Farm Equipment
bought the International dealer-
ship and rented the building after
Mr. Bach's death.
A little over a year ago yin-
centsoVed to their new building
north f Seaforth. The, building
was empty for some months
before being purchased by Mr.
and Mrs. Eisler,
Mr, Eisler was 140 own con-
tractor and sub-contracted the
work to area firms.

now complete. The business
