JUNE 15, 1972 +Dale of town reported in landing a'speckled trod' which measured 16 1/2 inches and weighed 2 lbs. Douglas Glanville and Ean Dolmage were-killed in an auto accident south of St. Columban. Wm. Cornish of London also died. Mrs. Jabs Henderson of town had an unfortunate fall at her home, North Main St. JUNE 22, 1972 Mrs. Ann Burchill, Dublin, was honored at a dinner in Staffa Hall and presented with a silver tea service and a chair. Malcolm McKellar celebrated his 86th birthday. Rev. J. Ure Stewart has 90th birthday. Terry Atkinson, well known Seaforth resident, passed,away at 55 years-of age. JUNE 29, 1972 • A landmark for '75 years top- pled to the ground when workmen tearing down the ,factory building at Jarvis and Market Sts. pulled the 50 foot chimney. John McIl- wain has the contract. Mrs. R. B. Rudd, former Seaforth resident won. a two-storey mortgage free home in a nation-wide contest to rename the former Canadian Air Base in Clinton.
