was "Table Talk", and Mrs.
Eggert discussed table service
and manners, and "Sunday sup-
pers", and then Mary Van Dyke
told about "picnic settings" and,
"table settings for buffets".
Achievement • Day was dis-
cussed and plans made for the
last meeting - when each mem-
ber will invite her mother and.
a friend to attend this buffet
at the home of the three Van
Dyke girls.

on Tuesday evening with a good
attendance.
Mrs. Harvey Craig was in
charge of a short devotional per-
iod opening with the hymn, Come,
ye thankful people, come., ac-
companied by Mrs. M. Baan as
pianist. Mrs. Roy Williamson
.read the scripture lesson follow-
ed with prayer by Mrs. Ross
Bennett,
Miss Linda Cook, Mitchell,
had articles on display and ex-
plained the benefits to the unit:
Two articles donated as door
prizes were won by Mrs. George
McCall and Mrs. Wm. Roe.
Mrs. H. Craig officially open-
ed their bazaar and bake sale,
followed by the unit serving lunch.

euchre parties, for the wioter
season the first being' held Fri-
day night in the Community Hall.

The Ladies Aid of First Pres-
byterian church held a success-
ful "Festival Fair" on Satur-
day afternoon. Mrs. Wilfred
Coleman and Mrs. Reg. Kers-
lake were the convenors of the
Fair. At the tea table were
Mrs. Drover, Mrs. W. A. Wright
Mrs. W. A. liqcigert, and Mrs,.
Harold Coleman - while Mrs.
James Keyes was in charge of
the tables which were decorated
in orange coloured Moline and
flowers.
In change of the baking table
were Mrs. HCrold Agar and Mrs.
Wilfred Coleman; the "sew and
so't table with Mrs. R. S. Hab-
kirk and Miss Alice Reid. Pro-
