Logan council / meets As an accommodation to the ratepayers' involved, , the treasurer of Logan has been accepting tax arrears after they have been turned in to the County for collection. In the future Council has instructed the, treasurer not to be responsible for such tax arrears and has confirmed that all outstanding taxes must be paid to the County Clerk's Office, Stratford. At the October meeting of. Logan Township Council the Treasurer was instructed to apply for subsidy on$113,424.05, this amount having beeirspent on roads.sq far this year. The report oh Branch "C" of the Northeast Drain having been previously adopted, the con- tract was awarded to Roth Drain- age Ltd. for $3,346.00. Council agreed to a request contained in a letter received. from the Perth County Board of Education requesting payment of the 1973 levy pn June 15 and November 15. Having been requested to have the water piped from the Town of Mitchell for Ritz ,Lutheran Villa, it was decided to have R.M.Dawson, P.Eng. examine the proposal and report back to Council.
