Seaforth 411 club held their '
second meeting at the home of
Debbie and Heather McPherson.
Officers are president, Pam De-
qroot; vice-president, Heather
McPherson; Treasurer, Lynda
Vincent; Press reporter, Jane
Ribey. The barbecue was started
with the help-of Helen Craig and
two demonstrations were held.
Seaforth I met at the home of
Lynda Vincent and decided upon
Seaforth Swinging Chefs for the
'project name. Two of the mem-
bers made a tuna casserole
from the member's pamphlet.
Meeting at the home,1of Jane
Rlbey's there was a demonstra-
tion of Chlchen salad.

for a hamberger and hot dog
barbecue, at the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Drager.

The minutes were-read by Carole
Eggert and members discussed
the topic "The Third Meal with
-fish, flesh or fowl." June and
Lorna Eggert denionstrated how
to make Spicy Baked Beans with
Wieners. The fourth meeting
will be held at the home of Diane
Nigh.

For their wedding trip to,
Algonquin Park, Ottawa and King-
ston the bride travelled in 'apur-
ple crepe dress with black ac-
cessories. The couple will re-
side in London where Dave is
continuing hi; studies at West-
ern University and Joanne is em=
ployed with the 'Bank of Montreal.
Prior to her ma_rriage,Joanne
was honored at 5 showers, by
her friends' in the community,
her relatives and Dave's, former
school friends and fellow bank
employees.

The Staffe buttercups held the
3rd, meeting of their 4-H Home-
making club on Dairy Fare at tne
home of their leader, Mrs. Wil-
liam Butsoh on Monday evening.
Roll call - Did- you have milk
to-day? and how was it served
was answered by 13 girls. Oven
poaching was discussed by the
leaders and the test for custards.
Cottage potato salad, cheese
dreams,. and pei.nut butter cus-
tard were, made by the girls and
leaders and sampled by all.

the double ring ceremony in
Cromarty Presbyterian Church
on Seturday, September 2 at 4.

Betty Joanne Templemam, dau-
ghter of Mr. and Mrs. John
Templeman , R.2, Staffa , to Mr.
David John Capling, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Floyd Capling, Mitchell.
The bride, given in marriage
by her father wore a floor length
geenn of bridal satin, trimmed
with daisies elect a overlay of
chiffon, with long full chiffon
sleeves and high neckline and
a matching chapel train. Her
full, length veil was held in place
with a julliet cap. She carried
an off -white orchid on a white
bible.
Her sister, Mrs. Dale Martyn,
Russeldale was matron of honor
and the bridesmaids were Miss
Borede Kerilake, Cromarty, and
Misses Ruth and Darlene Tem-
pleman, sisters of the bride.They

demonstrated how to make Spicy

The 4-H Gracious Gourmets
met at MrsaDrager's home when
a casserole of tuna fish was
made and tasted by the club
