Featured in the parade was a 1914 steam engine manufactured in Seaforth by the Robert Bell Engine and Threshing Co. Ltd. A Bell separator is being pulled by the engine. The outfit is owned by Geo. McKinless of Walkerton. He plays baseball and hockey and he loves to run, enjoying the com- petitiOn of 'track and field events. He as also been .taking classes in judo. And for a change of pace he is learning to play the guitar. Slim, healthy Frank is careful aboutlii4 clothes and his appearance. He has blue eyes, dark blonde hair and fair skin. • This lad has had some unsettling experiences which led to a stay in a treatment centre for children with emotional problems. He has now been discharged and the centre feels he is ready for adoption. Frank -earnestly wants to have a family of his own. While he waits Frank is in a foster home in the country. The rural life appeals to him very much but he cannot stay there because there is no school suitable for him in the area. Frank needs a special programs Class in an elementary school where he can work at ,several different levels, or a preparatory vocational class. He wants to do well in school but Is easily distracted besides finding some subjects very difficult. a• So he must. move. Lettus hope it Will be to an adoption home where he will have a mother and a father who will give him love, warmth, understanding, stimulation and especially , the feelihg he really belongs. The weather of the last few days has been ideal for the har- vesting of the bean crop and excellent yields • have been re- ported. Mrs. Pat Ryan Sr. Is a pat- ient in Seaforth Community Hos- pital. Mr. Joe Looby has been trans- ferred from Seaforth to St. Joseph's hospital in London. His many friends hope to see him home soon. Mr. and Mrs. Steve Maloney and family spent the weekend at their cabin trailer at Par- adise park. The CoMmittee members are Pres. - Mrs. Ron Butterg; Vice Pres. Mrs. Cyril Murray; Sec. Mrs. Murray Gallagher; Treas. Gordon Dantzer; Entertaitikent Chairman - Frank Flanagan. The activity got under way at 1 p.m. with races for the smaller children everyone winn- ing a prize. Ribbons - Prizes In other races were won by: Jennifer Flanagan 1st, Tommy Flanagan 2nd; Allan Murray 1st, Paul Stapleton 2nd. ; Timmy Flanagan 1st, Mark Feeney 2nd; Martin Murray 1st, Greg Feeney 2nd; Brad Flanagan 1st, Fran- ces Feeney 2nd; Linda Flanagan 1st, Ricky Flanagan 2nd; Murray Costello 1st, Paul Murray 2nd; Paul Gallagher let, Kevin Butters 2nd; Leahann Murray 1st, Mark Flanagan 2nd.. Horse shoe tournament was won by Gib Murray and Joe Flanagan with Pat Murray and Dan Costello receiving a booby prize. Two soft ball games were played with the "Tigers",, and "Knights" winning. An Old Timers softball game followed. A picnic supper followed▪ and to close the day a Mass was held lor deceased members in St. Patrick 's Church, Dublin at 8:00 P. M.
