The Habkirk - Reid group was in charge of the meeting and Mrs. Andrews opened it with a poem, written by the late John Beattie. Mrs. John Hillebrect read the scripture lesson from the 11th chapter of 1st Corinthians and Mrs. R.S.Habkirk followed with prayer. Mrs. Reg. S.Kerslake read the minute's and Miss Janet Cluff gave the treasurer's re- port. "Luncheon is served" will be held on Nov. 0th. Mrs. R.K.McFarlane read a letter of appreciation. A quilting will take place on Thursday and Fri- day of next week. Mrs. R.S.Habkirk introduced the guest speaker, Mrs. Nelson Cardno, who explained the use of home care to the shut-ins and those coming out of the hospital. Miss Ethel MacKay thanked the speaker.
