Despite a heavy rainfall, the
fair continued and all classes
were completed.

Both Bruce Bothwell and IVan Forsyth were kept busy at the
Hensall Livestock- show keeping records a the winners.
Bob Kinsman, of RR 2, Staffa, received the Huron Expositor trophy for the open market class
for steers. Presenting the trophy is Liz'MacLean, member of the staff at the Huron Expositor.
Two proud youngsters are shown with their calves. A calf owned by Pam Carnochan, RR 3, Sea-
forth was named grand champion. It was Pam's first experience in the' show ring. Murray Mc-
Gregor, Kippen,-won the reserve grand for his calf.

The winner for the grand champion for show herds was Adam Flowers of Bayneld. He is shown

the town to the gates of the 104th annual Hensall Stock Show. Shown above is a float sponsored by
the -Hensel), Public School. Below, bikes also were out in ;full force. A prize was awarded for the
best decorated bike.

There was a large attendance
at the 104th annual Hensall Stock
Show Tuesday evening which
began with a 'parade— down the
Main Street di Hensall. Head-
ing the parade was MisS
Janice Fox of Cayuga, Queen
of the Furrow and Mrs.Irma
Pryce, Walton, Huron County
Queen of the Furrow.
Underway in the Hensel' Park
was a midway and judging of
horse classes. Inside the Ben-
sall Arena was full of activity
with a cattle show and presen-
tations of trophies.
Top 8 for the Hereford Finish
were: 1. Pam Carnochan; 2.Mur-
ray McGregor;. 3. Hugh Ryan; 4.
Mark Consitt; 5. John Binnen-
dyk; r6. Dennis McBride; 7.David
McGregor; 8. Mary Jane Mc-
Gregor.
Top 8 for the Charolais finish
were: 1. Brian Wilson; 2. Keith
Passmore; 3. David Townsend;
4. Les Coleman; 5, Teresa Fer-
ris; 6. Cathy Parker; 7. Beth
Passmore; 8. Lee Hodgert.
The grand champion and'
first in the Hereford Cattle
class was Pam Carnochan, #3,
Seaforth in her first experience
at exhibiting and reserve grand
champion was Murray McGregor
of 42, Klippen.
David Kinsman, R.R.#2, Staffa
took first prize for junior show-
manship and Kevin, his brother
won the Senior showmanship
prize. Anbther brother, Bob
Kinsman received the Huron Ex-
positor trophy for the open
market class for steers.
Baby contest winners were
6 months and ,under, Mark, s2k
of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Burton.
