ents'late last week.
In the first scheduled game,
Dublin Juvenile girls.lost a close-
ly contested game to Brodhagen.
The game was played in Brod-
hagen on Monday, JUne,5, and was
wonloy, the home team by a score
St. Columban, with 396 points,
captured first place and won the
trophy in the annual field day
in which area Roman Catholic
schools competed. The meet was
held in Mitchell on wednesday.
The trophy was presented by
Father Gordon Dill.
St. James , Seaforth caw
second with 332 points. St. Pat-
rick's, Dublin with 250 points was
third followed by St. Patrick's,
Kinkora with 164.

Dublin Juveniles Defeat Mitchell.
In a game played Thursday,
June 8 at '7:15 in Mitchell, the
Dublin Juveniles defeated Mitch .-
ell by a score of 21 to 16. , This
was a well played game by Dublin
girls. , The next game for the
girls at home ( league game)
Will be played Friday, June 23,
at 8:00 against Mitchell.

The Dublin Junior Girls team
will' play two ganaes this week,.
On Friday, June 16,Stratford will
play Dublin at 9:00 p.m. in Dub-
lin. Plan to attend these games
`as you will not only see some
fine ball playing but your support
and enthusiasm will boost the ,...
girls' spirits.
Also on Sunday evening the
draw will be made for the .$100
for which the girls- on the team
were selling tickets. In case of
rain the draw will still be held
but it will be drawn in the school
gym rather than at the ball dia-
mond.
