and the guests were ,ushered

The wedding reception was
held at the Golf and Country Club
in Seaforth following the wedding
Mass. The bride's mother wore
a powder blue crimpknit dress
with a corsage of yellow roses.
The groom's mother wore a pink
brocaded suit with a corsage of
pink roses.
For a wedding trip to
California, the bride chose a
two-piece floor length blue ging-
ham costume with white aeces-,
sories and a blue straw picture
hat. She wore a matching cor-
sage.
The young couple will re-
side In Waterloo, Ontario.
Prior to here marriage, the
bride was entertained at show-
ers given by Mrs..MacIntosh
in Waterloo; by the staff of the
K. W. Hospital, where she Is
presently employed and by Mrs.
Clarence Looby of Dublin,Ont.
Guests were present from
Toronto, Kitchener, Waterloo,
London, Sarnia, Parkhill,
Detroit, Danville, Illinois, Sea-
forth, Mitchell and Dublit.

072 WED DINGS On Saturday, May lath, a
Froudseau Tea was given by
Mrs. Russell WOrclen at her
home, in honour of her daughter,
Margaret. Mrs. Allan Appleby
was door and guest book atten-
dant and the guests were re-
ceived by the bricte-elect, her
mother and Mrs. Bernarek R.
Babcock, mother Of the grislom-
elect.
The tea table was centred
with a silver bowl of sweetheart
roses and baby's breath, flanked
by rose tapers in silver holders.
Tea was poured during the
afternoon by Mrs, Penelope Fell
and Mrs. David Craig, and in the
evening by Mrs. Millar Richmond
and Mrs. Harold France. Assist-
ing were Mrs. Glen Walden, Mrs.
Murray Kane and Mrs. Bruce
Richmond. Serving the guests
were Miss Sheila France, Mrs.
Lorne Fell, Mrs. Keith Rich-
mond aid Miss Lauree Kane.
The trousseau was displayed
during the afternoon by Mrs.
Joanne Juryzak and in the evene
ing by Mrs. Phyllis Lawrence.
Articles from. Marg's hope Chest
were shown by Mrs. Carol Ann,
Scott and Mrs. Debra Watts.
Shower gifts were displayed by
Miss Mary Ellen Babcock, and
Mrs. Carel Campbell, and in
charge of the Wedding gifts was
Miss Bonnie Miller.
Preceding the rehearsal, the
wedding party was entertained at
dinner at Hook's Restaurant,
London, by the groom's parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Bernard R. Bab-
cock.

college friends. The groom's

Mrs. Wilmer Howitt of Lon-
desborough and. Mrs. Heber Shute
of Kirkton visited Tuesday after-
noon with Messrs. Charlie and
Gordon Wilson and were supper
guests with Mr. and Mrs.George
Wilson.
Hensall United' Church was
the setting for the marriage of
Lynda Kathleen Fuss and Marvin
James Bower on June 3, 1972 at
3 p.m. with Rev. Donald Beck
officiating at the double-ring
ceremony.- , •
The bride is''the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. William Fuss of
Hensall, Ontario and the groom
is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Sarhuel Bower, Exeter, Ontario.
The bride, given in marriage
by her, father, chose a white
Empire waisted gown 'of p.eau
de sole with long' sleeves and
high neckline complemented with
white daisy trim. Her cathedral-
length veil was held by a wedding
ring• headpiece and was trimmed
In white daisies. She carried
a white orchid with yellow rose-
buds;. stephanotis and trailing
ivy on a white Bible.

of the bride, was- the maid /of
honor -and the bridesmaids were
Mrs. Joyce McCarter, Zutich,
sister of the groom, Miss Dianne
Adkins, Exeter, cousin of the
bride, and Miss Cheryl Fuss,
Hensall, sister of the bride. They
were gowned alike in long Empire
waisted orange floral sheer over
taffeta. They were yellow floppy
hats with long yellow streamers.
They each carried one yellow

flower girl wearing a long white
gown of peau de sole trimmed
with a green velvet ribbon.
She carried a basket of daisy
mums.
Mr. Jim Ctmpbell, Exeter,
was the best man and the guests
were ushered by Mr. Ken Mc-
Carter, Zurich, Mr. Bob Par-
sons, Exeter and Mr..Gary True-
miler, London, cousin of the
bride. Master Randy McCarter,
Zurich, nephew of the groom,
was the ringbearer.
Mrs. John Turkheim, Zurich,
••was the organist and accompan-
ied the soloist, MisS Bonnie
Mason, Exeter, when she sang
"Two " Shall Be One", "The
Lord's Prayer" and "The Wed-
ding Prayer".
The reception -was . held in
the Zurich' Community Centre.
For their wedding trip . to
Northern. Ontario, the bride
travelled-. in a red, white and
blue print dress with a ,white
sleeveless coat with navy acces-
sories. A red rose corsage
complemented her outfit.
The couple will reside
in Exeter, Ontario.
Guests were present from
Sarnia,Alliston, North Bay,
Toronto, Newcastle, Exeter,
Zurich, London, Stratford, Hen-
sail, and Huron Park.

On May 13th, at the McLeod
home in Tuckersmith, Katherine
Davidson and Donald John Mce
Leod were united in marriage,
Rev. Craven 'of Goderich/offic tat-
ed and a reception followed the
ceremony. The, bride is the third
daughter of Mrs. Aura and the
late Allan Davidson of Thunder
Bay, and the groom is the elder
son of Mrs. Harry McLeod and
the late Harry McLeod of Sea-
forth.
The couple left on an extend
ed honeymoon trip to, the western
provinces, Yukon and the North
West Territories.

The radiant bride, given in
marriage by her father, wore a
silk organza gown, with natural
waistline circled with lace and
large wide ruffled bottom, long
slim sleeves with ruffles at the
wrists. Her French silk illusion
veil had matching lace trim and
she carried a cascade of shasta
daisies..
Her attendants were Miss
Bernadette ' Nagle, London,
Ontario as maid of honor and
Miss Mary Jo Looby, Dublin,
Ontario, as Jiinior Bridesmaid.
They were dressed alike in floor-
length organza gowns -with floral'
skirts and white bodices. The
Victorian neckline and long
sleeves were edged in lace. Their
headpieces consisted of yellow
rosebuds and they carried bou-

groom. The girls were gowned

white floral dresses. They wore
daisies in their hair and carried

Following the ceremony, the
reception was held at the Latin
Quarter, where the Wedding din-
ner was served, after which the
guests. accompanied the bride's
parents to their, 'home at Staff a.
The couple are honeymooning
in Europe, and on their return
will reside at 85 Livingstone
Ave., Grimsby, Ontario where
the groom is in business and in
September the bride will be com-
mencing her duties on the teach-
ing staff of the Winona High
