A horse that breaks_fast from the starting gate
but fades fast in the stretch is not a, good bet.
Neither is a corn crop that isri't sidedressed.
If ,you put down preplant or .startar fertilizer,
your crop got off to a fast start. But without a
, sidedressing of nitrogen, it's liable to fade out
fast in the pollination and grain-forming weeks
which makes the big difference in yields' and
profits.
Don't let your corn run of grow-power this
season. Order .your sidedress nitrogen now.
We'll also be glad to apply it for.you.
Call us today for full particulars. But do it now
than watch your crop go!

0 LbVES THE OUTDOORS
Ricky with the shy, shining smile is eight, slim and
rather small for, his age with dark eyes, brown hair and
• fair skin. He is in excellent health.
This active youngster loves outdoor activity - riding
his bike, skating, sletghrlding or just playing small-boy
games like cops and robbers. RiekY enjoys sports, with
hockey the favorite. He is a Ty fan who does not like to
miss Batman and • watches for, all programs 'about animals.
Ricky's foster family says he is well-behaved and well-
mannered. He lacks confidence in himIeff and is apprehen-
sive ift new situations, but he is a friendly, curious boy
who can be a pleasant companion when• he /eels comfortable
with people.
School is hard going for kicky, who is in Grade one. He
especially needs remedial reading.
This wistful-looking lad wants a home and family. He
should have warm, relaxed parents who will enjoy the out-
doors with him. Jacky should be, encouraged to Mel confl-
* dent in his own abilities even if -they ere not within his aca-
demic lines. It will be best if he can be the youngest in the
family.
To irreuire about adopting Ricky;' please write to TodaY's
Child, Box 888, Station K, Toronto. For general adoption
information, ask your Children's Aid Society.
