Students of Huron Centennial
present Pinocchio
Capacity audiences greeted
the presentation by pupils of
grades 6,7 and 8 of Pinocchio at
Huron Centennial School,Bruce-
field on Wednesday and Thurs-
day evenings.
The play was written by Mrs.
H. Bieman, Mrs. M. Broadfoot,
and principal A. Mathers. The
choir was under the direction of
Mrs. D. McKinleyand accompan-
ied by Mrs. M. Moffatt. The
' '•' ' scenery borrowed from the Hur-
onla Male Choir of Exeter was
supplemented by scenery and
props designed by Mrs. Turner.
Mrs. Broadfoot organized and re-
hearsed the dances, and Mrs.
Moffatt, Mrs. Monteith, and Mr.
Mathers directed the cast. The
lighting Was designed and opera-.
ted by Mr. Walker and Mrs.
Bierrian and Mrs. Carter were
in charge of costumes and make-
up. Mr. Jeffery sold the tickets,
arranged the seating and assist-
ed the ushers. Others who play-
ed a part in the presentation
were: M.Desjardine, R.Laye,
Mrs. S,Carter, Mrs. J.McCallurn
and J.Z waan.
Those taking part in the pro-
gram in the order of their, ap-
pearance were:
