FUNERAL
SAMUEL STOREY
Samuel Storey, 78, of RR
2, Seaforth died Sunday in Hur-
onview, after a lengthy illness
extending over 2 years.
Born in McKillop Township,
he was the son of the late Mr.
and Mrs. Samuel Storey and at-
tended school at SS No 2, Mc-
Killop. He married the former
Beatrice Grummett on April 4,
1923. They farmed in McKillop
Township. He was a member of
First Presbyterian Church, Sea-
forth. -
He is survived by his wife; a
daughter, Mrs. Bert (Eleanor)
Thomson of REV' 2 Kippen; a
son, williamof RR 2 Seaforth;
a brother, William J., of Mc-
' • Killop' and four granchildren.
• The body was at the G. A.
Whitney funral home in Sea- •
forth. The funeral service was
held Tuesday at 2 p.m.' with
Rev. T. C. Mulh011and officiat-
ing. Burial followed in Mait-
landbank 'cemetery. Pallbearers
were Robert McMillan, Arthur
Anderson, Herb Harrison, Stew-
art Dolmage, Aubrey McNichol
and Sam McClure. Flower-.

and George McClure.

School, al-so the District Annual
at Sebringville Community

A donation was made to the
School for the Mentally Re-

Mr.' Stewart has a family
of two daughters, Marjorie, Mrs.
Alvin Hammond of Moorefield ,
and Muriel, Mrs, Lloyd Chr4st-
ner of Kitchener, 'and a son,
Dr. Kenneth Stewart of Water-
loo; nine grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren.
Mr. Stewart has completed
his auto-biography, illustrated
With pictures of his boyhood,
scenes and family pictures. He
is also very proud of a volume
he , compiled giving a detailed
history of his* mother's family,
the Mathesons.
Mr. and Mt's. Stewart are, keen
travellers and combine this with
Mr. Stewart's hobby "of photo-
graphy.
He still enjoys playing class-
ical music on his piano and often
...plays at golden wedding anni-
versaries.
His lovely garden is an indi-
cation of his 'Joy in gardening
and he has joined the recently
formed local horticultitral soc-
iety. A bird feeder, which attracts
many• feathered friends, gives.
him much' pleasure all 'winter
long.
Mr. Stewart is a member of
the Huron Historical Society and
enjoys delving into and recording
details of events of past 'years.
