tarded in Stratford held a dance
on Saturday evening in the Sea-
forth Legion to raise money to

Mrs, W. B. Moore who has
resided in Cromarty for the' past
17 years celebrated her. 90th
birthday oil April 3rd. She was
the former _Esther Worsley and
was born in Fenelon Township,
Victoria county in Eastern Ont-
ario.
In 1909 she was married to
William Moore and in 1915 they
Went West residing first in Al-
berta and then in Northern Sask-
atchewan.
In 1943 they returned to Ont-
ario to reside at Fenelon Falls.
She has One son, Hugh --of Lind-
say, and one daughter (Muriel)

Mrs. Moore who is a patient
in Seaforth Hospital was pleased to -receive a birthday card from

Meeting seven of the Staffa
Bed Bouncers was held at the
home of Mrs. John Wallace on
Wednesday evening. Gail Har-
burn presided and led in the
4-11 pledge. The roll call "A
new sewing technique I have
learned" was answered by ten
members. Cheryl Riley read the
secretary's report. The remain-
der of the evening was spent
covering the ,waste paper bas-
kets and coloring- the colour
wheel.
Meeting eight was held on
Saturday' at the same home with
nine girls answering the roll
call "How I impioved my bedl-
room". Mrs. Wallace demon-
strated how to make a mitred
corner.. It was decided to hold
a meeting the following week to
work on record books and com-
plete our projectg.

dened to hear of the passing'of
Mr. Charlie Munn in Victoria
Hospital, London. He has been
a resident of Galt since 1941.

Ladies Aid of First Church Tue-

was in charge of the Coleman
and McMillan groups and the
hymns were chosen by Mrs. John
Gordon. Mrs. Robert E. McMillan q.
gave a reading entitled "Ruleg
for Daily Life". `Mrs. Harold•
Agar read the scripture lesson •
and Mrs. Arthur Nicholson led
in prayer. Minutes were read
by Mrs. Reg Kerslake and Miss
Janet Cluff gave the treasurer's
report. Letters of appreciation
were read by Mrs. R. K. Me-

duet by Mrs. Francis Coleman
