on Friday evehing for an hour of dancing. The club
members along with the evening volunteers, Mr. -and Mrs.
Harvey Howard, Willa Taylor and several residents
took part in some of the round, wheelchair and square
dances. •
Monday, March 19, was once again the day for the
Old T Music session, with the entertainment being
provided this week by Norman Speir and two guests,
Mr. and Mrs. Bert Finlay. The first two gentlemen
played violins MrS. Finlay accompanied them do
the piano. The residents in attendance had, as usual, a very
enjoyable afternoon of their favourite old time songs. A
special and unique event on the program, was the step
'dancing, done very capably by Miss Bonnie Storey. Her
talents were appreciated by everyone in attendance. A
group of six volunteers from Goderich were on hand to
render their services with the program. We (hank
them very much for their time and effort.
Plans were made at the Monday afternoon meeting of
the HUTORVieW Women's Auxiliary for the spring tea which
is to be held in the auditorium on Wednesday, May 3.
The Woodham & Kirkton Men's Club were in charge
of the ThUrsday Family Night program. President Glen
Copeland introduced the numbers which included dances
by Janice Burgin 'and Susan Spence; the Morrison sisters,
Lorrie, Lynda, Lisa; Instrumentals by Bob Robinson,
Burns Blacker,Ellen Eveleigh, Lawrence Rodd, Laurel
Ratcliffe; vocas by the Copeland sisters; Philip Heckler
and a lvely sing-a-long led. by; .Mrs. Spence and Robert
Rundle.
Mrs. Waghorn, a former resident Of the Woodham area,
thanked the group on behalf of the residents.

August 1, 1972. • There will be
three assistant superintendents,
one to be qualified in special
education.
The executive' council of the
board will consist of the direc-
tor of education, the superintend-
ent of business affairs, the sup-
erintendeht of operations and
superintendent of program and
planning.
As well, decision was reached
at the meeting to pass policy
whereby the director of educa-
tion may approve, in advance,
payment of tuition fees to other
boards for Huron County Resi-
dent Internal pupils to take sec-
ondary school programs of study
that lead to institutions of advanc-
ed study beyond secondary school
or to a specialized, ,type °ism*.

students to attend H.B.Beal Sec-
ondary School in London in Sept-
ember, The Huron board will

given by the board. Now under
the new policy, the director of
educatibn may make the decision
and report to the board at the
first meeting following that de-
cision.

checked the hand out sheets. They
discussed having a fashion show
with the other two Walton Clubs.

lace on the bottom of a garment,
put facing on the neck and how to
make an elastic casing.
Walton 4-H met at Mrs.
Dianne McNichol on Monday when
14 girls answered the .roll call.
The leaders discussed Achieve-
ment Day and corrected the hand
out sheets. They demonstrated
hems, seams, facings and putting
on buttons.

who waskilled instantly in a motor
accident during an ice storm on
Monday, March 13 near Niagara

Friday, March 17, at 2 P.M. at
the G. A. Whitney Funeral Home.
The service was conducted
