In the second game of the
best of seven series against Kin-
cardine Bulldogs, Seaforth
Beavers came out on the bottom
end of a 7 - 4 score. The game
was played in Kincardine last
Friday evening.
Terry Craig, assisted by Bill
McLaughlie and Murray Hender-
son, assisted by Jim Sillsscered
for Seaforth in the first period.
Bob Beuttenmiller scored in
the second, assisted by Terry
Craig.

Win Openers
The Blues and Flyers both
pulled out victories in the first
games of the Industrial Hockey
League semi-final playoffs (best
of three series). °
The Flyers recorded a 5-1
win over the Kings, while the
Blues upended the Stars' 7-5.•
The Flyers, who were ,with-
out their top scorer Dale Ken-
nedy, juniped into a 3-0 lead
before Bill Pinder, found the

twice, and Don Jefferson added
the other.
, The Kings pressed hard
throughout the entire game but
were unable to beat the sup-
erb goaltending of' Gary 'Mont-
gomery. Only three penalties
were called in, the cleanly,played
game.
- The Blues jumped quickly on
the Stars as they pumped in 4
goals by the three minute mark
of the second period. The Stars
roared back with three goals in
less than six minutes, to come
within one of tying the game.)
However the Blues took advan-
tage of defensive lapses . and
wrapped in three goals in less
than one minute to go ahead
7 - 3.
The Stars, however, did not
give up and scored two goals
less than two minutes apart to
make the final score '7-5. Moe
Htiard and dary Osborne both
turned in solid performances
with Oeborne receiving little pro-
tection from his teammates. '
Bill Boshart and Davey Wat-
son sank two goals apiece for
the Blues with Joe Dick, Jack
Price and Veteran Jimmy Watson
adding singles.
Earl Gray fired a pair for
the Stars with single counters
going to, Bill Teall, Jiro Carter
and 13111 Muir.
Thirteen pealties were
called in the game by Referee
Hugh Flynn with the Blues taking
seven of them, including a game
misconduct to Larry Broome.

Kincardine Bulldogs defeated
the Seaforth Beavers by a score
of 6 - 4 Tuesday evening. in
Kincardine to -take the lead in
the best of seven series.
Scoring the Beaverb four
goals were Bill McLaughlin,
Terry Craig, Jack McLlwain and
George Reeves. '
Kincardine leads the series
two games to one, with one game
tied. The fifth was played Wed-
nesday evening at Seaforth.
The series returns to Kin-
cardine. on Sunday afternoon and
back to Seafortla, if necessary

"On Sunday afternoon at the
Seaforth Arena, Kincardine and
Seaforth. played to a 6-6 tie.
Kincardine scored twice in the
first period to Seaforth's ionce.
Murray Henderson .opened the
scoring for Seaforth at the 13:14
mark , assisted by Bob Beutten-
Kincardine scored at
the 16:42 mark and the 19:12
mark.
In the second period Kincar-
dine scored the lone goal at the
1555 mark.
Bill McLaughlin scored at
the 2:07 mark of the third period
assisted by Jack MeLlwain and
