of the Seaforth Industrial Hockey
League the Stars hold a slim
two pointmargin over the Kings
. and Blues. The Stara edged the
Kings 4-3 on Sunday' night to
grab the lead. Going into the
game both teams were tied with
twelve points apiece on six wins
and three losses.
The line of Don Hulley, Bill
Teall an Earl Gray figured in
On all the Stars' spciring. Hulley
'Scorey twice, while Teall scored
N once and assisted on two more.
Gray also scored once and as-
sisted on the other three. Brian
Phillips, JIM McIlwain and Gary
Betties scored for the Kings who
trailed throughout the game. Gary
Osborne in goal for the Stars

formances as he stopped several

Seaforth Beavers continued
their undefeated record Tuesday
evening as they defeated Lucan by
a score of 13 - 4.
The Beavers have not lost
a game this season.

Lucan opened the scoring
in the , first period at the 6.26
mark and went ahead 2 - 0 at
the 8.55 mark. Jack McLiwain
scored for Seaforth at the 9.10
mark assisted by Ed. Dolmage.
Murray Henderson tied the score
at the 16.23 mark assisted by
Jim Dick.
In the second period Wayne
Rau assisted by McLlwain and
Ray Anstett opened the scoring
at the 4,13 mark. Thirty seconds
later MurraY Henderson scored
assisted by Ray Devereaux and
Rau. Bob Beuttenmiller scored
unassisted at the 5.42 mark.
Henderson got the hat trick at
6.33 mark assisted by Jim Dick
and Ray Devereaux. Lucan
,scored their lone goal of the
second period at .the 8.45 mark.
In, the third perion_McLlwain
scored, the winning' goal at the
2.39 mark assisted by Lawrie.
Lucap scored at the 8.25 mark
and Beuttenmiller scored at the
10.56 mark for Seaforth assisted
by Murray Henderson. Lucan
came back with two in a row at
the 12.51 mark and the 14.30
mark. Jack McLlwain scored
his third of the night and the
final goal of the game at the
16.18 mark, assisted by Jihi
Sills. .
The' Beavers have three re-
maining games to play. On Fri-
Monday they defeated Mite
at Seaforth by a score Of 6 - 3.

Dates have not yet been set
for the Kincardine series but I'm

for 19 coaches on January 5th,
followed by three weekly instruc-
tional periods for boys from
Grades 5 to 8, the Huron-Perth
R.C.S.S. ,to League gets un-
derway this week for eight junior
teams Grades 5 and 6,.and nine
senior squads Grades 7 and 8.
