listed on the attached index. Our examinatiwn included a

considered necessary in the circumstances.
In our opinion these financial statements present
fairly the financial. Tiosition .the coronration of
Township of McKillop as at December 31st, 1971, and the

for Ontario municipalities applied on a basis consistent

Weather Cuts Attendance
As First Church Instals Officers
First Presbyterian Church
W.M.S. met Thursday in theCen-
tennial Room. The attendance
was down to 11 members owing
to the bad. weather. Rev. Thos.
Mulholland installed the officers
for 1972. Mrs. Jack Thompson,
president, opened the business
part with a poem followed by
prayer. There were 14 sick calls
made. The group was asked to
See that' there were flowers, in
the church for the months of
February and September, for
which Miss Jean Scott offered
her assistance. The society has
been invited by the Barbara Kirk-
man ladies to attend a pot luck
supper. The president, secre-
tary and treasurer and Miss
Belle Campbell attended the
Huron Presbyterial held in Knox
Presbyterian Church, Goderich.
The W.M.S. has been asked to
send a delegate to the synodical
to be held in Hamilton April
11 and. 12th.. •Mrs. Molly Waddell

'meeting reported a successful year with a balance of

The Winghaad Lions club held an Industrial Night,
according to the Wingham Advance Times, 'at which many
local people ' identified with industry heard Caley Hill,
vice-president of sales, Dominion Road Machinery Ltd.
of Goderich, whose theme was "World Markets." Members
and -guests numbered 47.....It may well be called "g 'rarity-

. The Zurich Citizens News relates that the local Cham-
ber of Commerce has set up their various committees
for the coming year. The president, Mr. Herb Turk-
heimm, and vice-president, Leo Meidinger, look to a

More plans were made by the Brussels Centennial
COTrimittee, according to the Brussels Post, when they
met ',recently. A Beard Growing Contest has started and
Mr./ John Ainlay, great grandson of wm. Ainlay, founder
of, Ainlayville has been asked to. be Honorary..„parade
Marshall.....Brussels Firemen, in a door to door can-
vass of the community collected a total of $279.00 for
Musdular Dystrophy. The Brussels Polar Daize Carn-
ival was a success despite the zero weather of the weekend.
From the Mitchell Advocate we note that Ken Smith
will head the Brodhagen Chamber of Commerce during
1972. In its report it noted 44 members attended the
meeting and that the Chamber supported eight ball teams.

The Exeter Times-Advocate reports that Norris Webb,
Woodham, has taken over the duties Of clerk-treasurer
for Blanshard Township Arthur B. Idle, principal of

is a native of Clarksburg, coming to, Exeter in 1954 as
principal. He started teaching in 1934 after. graduating
from Stratford TeaCher's College A new portable class-
