Moss, sister of the groom. They
were gowned alike in floor
length green velvet gowns with
matching headbands and shoes
and carried crescents of bronze
and yellow chrysanthemums.
Wayne Pettit of Montreal,
was groomsman and the guests
were ushered by Bruce Sharp.
Doug Stevens and Art Bere,
all of London.
Mrs. Donald Johnston played
traditional wedding music and
accompanied Mrs. J. B. Higgins
who sang the "Voice That
Breathed O'er Eden" at the be-
ginning of the service and
"For You Alone" during the
signing of the register. The
reception was held in the Trin-
ity Parkh Hall end guests
were received by the bride's
mother, Mrs. Jack Cluff who
wore a pink boucle suit with
black accessories and a corsage
of white and pink carnations.
She was assisted by the
groom's mother, Mrs. Donald
Moss, who wore a turquoise
brocaded suit with matching
accessories and a corsage of
amber colored roses.
Relatives and guests attend-
ing the wedding were from
Toronto. London, Montreal.
Hamilton, Detroit, St..Thomas,
Goderich, Leamington, Wind-
sor, Kingsville. Kingston and
Bayfield.
For travelling to Northern
Ontario the bride donned a
green wool mohair suit with
black awes:Am-les and an am-
ber rose corsage. On their re-
turn the couple will reside in
London, where the bride is a
teacher on the London Board
of Education and the groom is
a member of the advertising
staff of the London Free Press.
David F. Anderson
was Life-long
Stanley Resident
David Foote Anderson pas-
sed away on Saturday, October
10th in Clinton Public Hospi-S tal after a brief illness, in his
91st year. He was a lifelong
resident of Stanley Township.
Having farmed for many
years on Parr Line, he moved
to Varna in 1937, where he
worked at carpentry until re-
cent years. He was a member
of the Varna United Church.
Mr. Anderson was predeceas-
ed by his wife, the former Ellen
McAllister, in 1947; also a son
Bill, in 1928. He is survived by
two daughters, Miss Pearl And-
erson of Varna, and Mrs. Elmer
(Helen) Turner of RR 1 Varna,
also one son ,George of Sea-
forth. Ten grandchildren and
six great grandchildren also
survive.
Funeral services were con-
ducted Monday at 2 p.m. from
Bonthron Funeral Chapel, Hen-
sall, by the Varna minister, Mr.
Murdoch Morrison. Interment
was in Baird's Cemetery, Stan-
ley Township.
Pall-bearers were Wm. For-
rest, Hensel; Charles Pilgrim
and Wm. McAsh, Varna; Wm.
Elliott, Centralia; Russell Mc-
Allister, ' Toronto and James
McAllister, RR 1 Zurich.
Flowersbearers were two
grandchildren, Carol Maxwell
and Bill Turner.
