The meeting was chaired by Robert .1. Good of Kingston, division extension and mainten- ance chairman. Mrs. Henry Krug of Kitchener, extension and maintenance chairman for Huronia District and K. A. Gardner of Toronto, vice-chair- man of the national body, also addressed the delegates. Mr. Good told delegates the new idea of forming sections-- small groups of volunteers ready to serve in areas not cov- ered by the Society's units and branches—had caught on like "wildfire". He said since last May the number of such sections had risen from 72 to 198. Despite the growth, he said, there was no room for complacency.
