A new organiza tion is being de veloped to culti vate all phases in a Volunteer Program. A spe ciel office in the Hospital has been established, from which vclun teers are assign ed to various duties- in the wards; gift shoe, arts and crafts department; shop work; entertain- ment, etc. Each volunteer will be given his or her personal badge at the Volunteer offic e. In reviewing the entertainment sup plied, many clubs, groups and individ uals have given of their time and tal ent. Ea ch celebrant re- ceives a gift and a special program for the event is carried out, with the never -overlook ed birthday cake. Recently a tiood- working shop pro grim has been add ed to these acti vi ties for male therapy. Scrap -cod has been don ated by several building firms, a nd cloth for quilt natches has been supplied by merch ants and by hospit al personnel. We are going to held an orienta- tion meeting at the Hospital on Wednesday after- noon, September. 22nd, at 2:;00 of clock. At this meeting, our pl- ans be dis- cussed and expl- ained by Mrs. Pro sser, Nursing Sun erintenderrt, Mrs. Van Egmond; and myself, as Volun teen co-ordina- tor.
